Welcome to Al-Ameen Eating House, a vibrant dining destination nestled at 2, 3, 4 Cheong Chin Nam Rd, Singapore. This bustling eatery is a haven for lovers of Halal Indian cuisine, and it has rightfully earned a place in the hearts (and stomachs) of food enthusiasts across the island.
Open 24 hours a day, Al-Ameen is a sanctuary for night owls and late-night cravers, and it invites everyone to indulge in its mouth-watering array of dishes. From enticing biryanis to aromatic tandooris, this establishment delivers flavors that dance on your palate. It is a place where community thrives; gather with family or friends around shared plates bursting with heritage and taste.
- Signature Dishes: The star of the menu is undoubtedly the nasi briyani, often lauded for its tender mutton and flavorful rice that will have you coming back for seconds. Pair that with the renowned butter chicken, celebrated for its rich and creamy texture, and you've got a splendid meal on your hands.
- Mouth-Watering Naan: Don't forget to savor the cheese and butter naan. Its chewy, fragrant quality perfectly complements the succulent chicken tikka, making it an irresistible combination that draws diners from all corners.
- Unique Touches: Take a step away from the savory with the delightful fried ice cream, a fun way to end your culinary journey.
However, be prepared for a lively atmosphere! Al-Ameen boasts a very loud environment, reflective of its popularity. While service can vary, the energetic hustle often contributes to an exhilarating dining experience. Some reviews note that servers may hover one moment and be scarce the next, yet this unpredictability adds to the charm of dining in such a busy locale.
The upgraded seating and bright, clean ambiance make it family-friendly and even accommodating for breastfeeding mothers. It’s not just a place to eat; it’s a gathering spot where memorable moments are made. As echoed by loyal patrons, this establishment holds a special place in the community, whether it’s as a nostalgic dining option from childhood or a late-night refuge after a night out.
In conclusion, whether you're a seasoned local or a curious traveler, Al-Ameen Eating House invites you to embark on a gastronomical journey through the rich tapestry of Indian flavors. Bring your appetite and your friends; you’re in for a treat that you'll never forget!

This place seems to have all kinds of food but you should focus on their Indian options. Their nasi briyani and tandoori are finger-lickin' good. The others are just so-so. The service can be a hit or miss. Some days you have the servers hovering over you waiting for you to order while some days you will be playing the me, me, me game. They recently upgraded so the seatings are quite comfortable and the ambiance is bright and clean. It is a great place for family dinners (breastfeeding friendly too!) and gatherings with friends.

Those of you on the search for a gastronomical experience, you can't go wrong with a trip to Al-Ameen. They've got every Asian dish under the sun! I used to live in the west when I was much younger, and Al-Ameen was our go-to eating establishment if grandmum or mom didn't feel like cooking. And when people visit Al-Ameen, they come in droves and have a ball of a time with good company. Nobody dines alone here. While there is such a wide array of dishes to pick from (yes, they all taste heavenly but you'll get a heart attack when you see the results in your next health check-up), I highly recommend their cheese and butter naan and chicken tikka. They're my favourites. The naans are chewy and fragrant and go very well with the oh-so tender chicken tikka, which is roasted to perfection and accompanied with ample cool minty sauce and veggies. It's finger licking good! There's even fried ice cream to try out. Al-Ameen is open 24 hours too, so I can go satisfy my cheese naan cravings anytime I want. *Hafiza rubs her hands in glee*

This is my 2nd favorite supper place in Bukit Timah apart from Al Azhar. The setting is very similar to all the other coffeeshops in the area: very noisy, always full of activity and huge. The servers are always running around and if you're not used to eating in such a place, you might want to try somewhere more quiet. But I always love coming to this place to create a din with my pals! Anyway, my favorite dish here is the mutton nasi briyani. Tender mutton, and wonderfully tasty rice. What more can you ask for? Another one of my favorite dishes is the butter chicken, which is extremely thick and creamy. I am actually salivating as I'm typing this. This goes very well with the excellent naan served at this place. I always top off my extremely sinful supper with a good dose of milo Godzilla, which is basically just good old iced milo topped with tons and tons of milo powder and probably other very sinful sugary stuff. In short, if you want to eat here, you'd better prepare to run a mini marathon the next day to burn off all the excess calories.
